Seat and Foot Planks:
- The seat and foot planks are designed to accommodate a load of 120 pounds per linear foot (plf) across a 6-foot span. Their maximum deflection is limited to 9/16 inch.
-
Live Load Support:
- These structures are engineered to support not only their own weight but also a uniformly distributed live load of at least 100 pounds per square foot (psf) based on the gross horizontal projection of the bleachers.
-
Wind Load Resistance:
- Regardless of whether a live load is present, they are also constructed to withstand a horizontal wind load of 30 psf based on the gross vertical projection.
-
Sway Force Resistance:
- In addition to the live load and wind load, the design accounts for sway forces. Specifically:
- 24 plf of seat plank force in a direction parallel to the length of the seat.
- 10 plf of seat plank force in a direction perpendicular to the length of the seat.
- In addition to the live load and wind load, the design accounts for sway forces. Specifically:
-
Not Included:
-
- Shop drawings (sold separately).
- Anchor kits (sold separately).
These bleachers are super easy to use. When you need to move them, just tip them onto the swivel casters and roll them to where you want. And when they’re in storage, use the caster brakes to keep them in place. Remember, shop drawings and anchor kits are sold separately. For maintenance, keep the aluminum clean. If there’s dirt, just wipe it off gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Check the caster brakes regularly to make sure they’re working well and can stop the bleachers from rolling when needed.
